Half sized fire fighters axe. Forged from 1045 steel and differentially hardened and tempered . Each face has been heat treated for durability and function . Mounted on a hand carved ash handle that has had many coats of preservative tung oil . Functional and beautiful . 2.5 lbs on a 22 inch handle . Available for local pick up at Front Step Forge in Edmonton Alberta Canada on online here.
